Floyd who works in our Mill takes safety seriously, he noticed a fire extinguisher didn’t have signage and could be easily missed in an emergency. He requested a replacement, installed it, conducted an audit of all extinguishers in the Mill and wiped all signs without being directed to do so. Minto’s safety culture at work!”
Bruce is a new employee, but he goes above and beyond in safety by pre-planning his routes with the crane, informing co-workers what he will be doing with clear and decisive communication. This is an excellent habit his co-workers believe everyone should take note of and adapt into their routine. They feel he is the safest guy on the crew!
Our employees truly demonstrate our value of ‘Caring’. Daylen saw an employee needing pax drums hauled up to the mixing floor and went to help her do just that. He knew she had just started a new position in the Mill and he wanted her to be able to concentrate on her circuit and not to worry about getting the pax drums having to be hoisted up.
